So far, I haven't been sick, so I can't report on how well it works that way, but I love it for allergy maintenance. I use a prescription spray (Flonase) on a daily basis, which does wonders for my itchy allergic nose symptoms, but my nose never seems absolutely clear. After using the neti pot, I experienced a depth of breathing I didn't know I had. It feels so good to breathe. Regarding the powder solution, I like that too. I thought I'd try the pot with just water because I figured I wasn't sick, so why not save some $, I just needed the flow. Well, plain water hurts. Using the solution is much more comfortable. It takes a little while to get the hang of it -- sometimes the water won't come out of the free nostril. Takes me a while to get the position of my head right. Comments about SinuCleanse Neti Pot All Natural Nasal Wash System, 1 ea: I recommend this to all my friends with any kind of sinus issues, allergies, colds, etc. Decongestants work, but they make me feel loopy and anxious, and keep me awake at night. Afrin works great, too, but it's a problem if used frequently or for long periods, and tastes gross. It's awful when you're sick and congested and you just want to lie down, but the pressure makes it painful. I get sinus infections easily, so I use this at the first sign of trouble to prevent infections, and it offers wonderful relief by draining nasal passages and relieving swelling. It sounds freaky and new age, and it is very counter intuitive to dump water down (up) your nose, but if you give it a good effort and get your technique down, this is by far the best remedy. This offers better relief from allergies than drugs, not just for the nose, but it cleans the irritants from your whole nasal passage, so your eyes and ears stop itching and mucus stops dripping down your throat. It's wonderful. Give it a shot and imagine how weird you'll sound recommending it to all your friends once it works. Pros

With a couple of exceptions I have used this product on a daily basis for several weeks now. I suffered from post-nasal drip for most of my life. My right nasal passage was constantly plugged up. My allergies were out of control year round. This product gave me immediate relief from those symptoms. I was able to breathe better and it cleared both nasal passages immediately. It does take some getting used to but the results, in my opinion, are worth the trouble. Pros

I have also used it for allergy relief. I like the fact that it is drug free and there are no interactions possible. It takes some practice and getting used to (feels like when you were a kid and got water up your nose while swimming). Results are immediate. Read and follow the directions carefully and you will be OK. Would not use this on a very young child, but for older kids, teenagers, or adults should be fine. Am getting one for each member of the household. Bottom line I would recommend this product (and have)! Pros

I am in a dusty region right now so I'm prone to allergies. I only have to use this about once a month to keep me clear, so its worth the discomfort... it still feels like I have water in my face a few hours after I use it. Pros

Comments about SinuCleanse Neti Pot All Natural Nasal Wash System, 1 ea: This is a great product! LOVE IT! Haven't suffered any more sinus infections since using it. And whenever I have a cold or allergy issues or just feel nasal "pressure", I use it and feel so much better. Clears my nasal passages so well. Also, whenever I feel like there's "junk" stuck in my nasal passages and it's really annoying and won't come out, I just use this and either it rinses right out or will come out when I use a Kleenex afterward. Saves you so much money in the long run. No more doctor appts. for sinus infections!! |
