I apply right after her bath when her skin is still a bit damp... Because the product is all oils and shea/cocoa butters (no water or alcohol), it will "congeal" in the bottle, making it lumpy and hard to get out. Simple remedy: just let it sit in a warm water bath for a few seconds, then it comes out and applies like liquid "buttah." Soaks in relatively quickly and I feel confident that this product isn't leaching any nasty chemicals into my daughter's body. I also find that it moisturizes my chapped hands better than any product I've tried. Thank you, Skin Free! The peanut smell is off-putting, and the odor lingers. Squeezing the oil out of the bottle is difficult due to the thickness (I presume), and the oil isn't finely filtered so it's a little chunky. Makes me feel as if I'm spreading on peanut butter. I would recommend this product to a friend, but with a caveat re: smell. Comments about Skin Free Super Moisture Body Balm, 8 fl oz: This lotion is the richest lotion I have ever used. I use on my sun damaged arms and it hydrates right away. Love the product! Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Skin Free Super Moisture Body Balm, 8 fl oz: I love the soap and thought I would love the lotion. It was delivered in the winter and might have frozen. I put it in the microwave like the directions said, but it became an oil and I don't think it ever returned to the correct consistency. Have not been able to use because it is too greasy. Pros

Comments about Skin Free Super Moisture Body Balm, 8 fl oz: I like that the balm is made of all natural oils. The main problem is the balm is lumpy. Some of the oils form solid clumps that are hard to rub into the skin. I have to microwave the balm to liquify the oils. Also, the balm is difficult to squeeze out of the bottle for the same reason. Comments about Skin Free Super Moisture Body Balm, 8 fl oz: My husband has suffered from the WORST psoriasis on his legs for the last few years...I have tried every single product available...finally I saw this bottle of Skinfree Moisture balm and believe it or not, after only 3 days the heavy crusty scaling skin is coming right off and you can see new "normal" skin starting to show!! He is so very happy! This is the BEST product we have found! Some people might not like the smell or thickness, but like the other reviewers said, just set it in warm water a couple of minutes....then shake the bottle & put it on...it's worth the effort if you have very bad psoriasis or eczema....recommend this to anyone who has severe skin dryness or psoriasis!! Comments about Skin Free Super Moisture Body Balm, 8 fl oz: I have extremely sensitive combination/dry skin and like extra moisture at night so I use this on my face after I wash for bed. It is an all natural product and seemed to have separated when I got it, but I just warmed it up slightly (their website suggests this) and it was fine. It has an oily consistency so a little goes a long way and at first I was afraid it would clog my pores or sit on my skin. In fact, after a short while it absorbs very well and my skin feels baby soft in the morning! It smells slightly nutty that I liked. This product also has an excellent rating from the Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep Cosmetic Safety Database which is a nice bonus. I haven't tried it on my body or to wear all day yet. Pros

Comments about Skin Free Super Moisture Body Balm, 8 fl oz: I have searched and searched for a truly safe "lotion" and think I have finally found it! I love this stuff! It goes on really nicely and leaves your skin feeling velvety. Absorbs nicely and doesn't leave a greasy feeling. Smells faintly like cocoa butter - that's the only scent I detect. So if you don't like the smell of cocoa butter you probably won't like the smell of this. I will buy this product regularly from now on! Pros Cons

Comments about Skin Free Super Moisture Body Balm, 8 fl oz: This is the thickest "lotion" I have ever seen. When you put it on, it's basically like putting Vaseline on! It doesn't smell bad or anything, though, so I guess it's an ok product. I haven't seen any improvement in my skin, but I don't use it regularly, so that might be the reason.
