I've been using Mack's earplugs for six years to block out my husband's snoring. They work well at blocking out the buzzsaw/sledgehammer next to me in the bed but aren't perfect...I'm a light sleeper.

On an especially frugal day, I bought a drugstore's generic equivalent of Mack's, which didn't work at all--the husband got kicked out to the couch.

So back to the drugstore I went for more Mack's, but they no longer carried them. We chose these Sleep Pretty in Pink earplugs even though I just thought they were a marketing gimmick to make earplugs pricier.

These are BETTER than Mack's. These were life-changing for me...they're insanely expensive but a good night's sleep is worth it, so I'm going to stock up.

A side note: These earplugs are no more difficult to insert than any other earplug I've tried. Roll the earplug around in your hand to compress it, pull on your ear to straighten your ear canal, then gently slide it in, leaving about an 1/8th of an inch of the plug hanging out of your ear, and let it expand. If it doesn't, pull the earplug out, wait a minute and try again. They shouldn't fall out in the night if they're properly inserted.

if you have smaller, sensitive ears these earplugs may not be comfortable for you. i used them barely half a night before i ended up pulling them out and throwing them away. i haven't touched them since.

i found that mack's safe sound jr. soft foam earplugs work the best to muffle sounds while not irritating my ears. i recommend those, not these.

I use these ear plugs every nite. I used industrial ear plugs and they were too large and would leave an irritation in my ear canal, like a cut. These dont do that. If they are a bit long I cut the very tip end off and they fit great. I dont wake up to noise at all! Make sure you squeese them small and put far in ear.

I work nights and sleep days and these help keep out the daily noises of dogs barking, lawnmowers outside and loud tv in the other room. I sleep like a log. Convenient and easy to use and small enough for my ears.

I find that when I squish these earplugs in order to fit them in my ear, they pop right back into shape before I can get them in. Unless you can push them in and get them to expand IN your ear they will not be effective. Often, when I am able to get them in (after 10 minutes of squeezing them as hard as I can!) they work themselves out during the night. Rather upset that I wasted my money on something that I cannot use.

Very comfortable and durable. Blocks out sound better than many others we have tried. Originally was attracted to this brand when comparing the specs on how many dB it blocks... It definitely lives up to it.

These are a must have for every woman who has a husband that snores. Just enough coverage to allow you to sleep through the snoring but still hear your alarm clock in the morning.

I prefer these filters because they're a little softer than others I've tried - some cause ear aches for smaller ears, and these adjust perfectly.

My neighbor has been rebuilding his house for a year, A YEAR! And they have a long way to go, so I'm trying to use ear plugs to block out the noise that starts at 7 am if not before. These were very hard to put in securely and wanted to fall out so I will try the Mack Jrs.
I don't know if my ears are smaller than normal, but these seem large for a product labeled for women.

I love these earplugs!! I live in an apartment complex that is not very soundproofed. So when sleeping I use these and I can sleep without being disturbed by almost any noise. They are comfortable and fit my ear well. They are the best!!
