I read about this product and decided to try it more for my husband than myself. However, after using it myself, I found that I have much more confidence in talking to co-workers and friends throughout the entire day. And, for a few mornings, I asked my husband how my breath was. Guess what? No morning breath. I couldn't believe it. My husband has terrible bad breath due to some stomach issues. I think he would find it just as effective if he would use it on a regular basis. When he does use it, his breath seems fresher for a longer period of time.
The only con is that it will leave your mouth very dry for several minutes to an hour or so. And, if you eat or drink immediately after using, food and drinks will have an off taste. However, this does go away within 30 minutes or so.
I've repurchased this product and will continue to purchase. Drugstore.com has the best price anywhere online and in stores.

I don't have chronic bad breath, or even frequent bad breath, but I hate other people's bad breath so much that I've become OCD about my own over the years. I decided to switch to this brand because of the rave reviews. I'm sure this works, but the zinc in this mouthwash leaves a nasty, metallic aftertaste which lasts straight into the morning.
It also alters the taste of whatever you're eating. There's a sulfur taste when I eat random food hours later. Not worth the uber "fresh" breath.
I'm going back to cloSYS. That mouthwash is perfect, but I guess I became jaded since I've been using it for so long. Closys leaves no aftertaste, and like this brand, you don't wake up with bad morning breath, and it just works.
I'd return this but don't want to deal with the hassle. :(

I first saw this product on a Dr. Oz show while channel surfing. I had chronic bad breath from allergies (post nasal drip) since childhood that got worse as I got older. I tried just about every breath product out there, prescriptions for my allergies including allergy shots, checkups with my dentist and physician to make sure there wasn't some other underlying problem - nothing helped until I tried Smartmouth. Instantaneously my mouth became odor free. Together with Zyrtec for my allergies, the problem is GONE! Before, the odor would return 10 minutes after a thorough brushing, now I go all day with the confidence to speak without worrying about embarrassing odor. This product is expensive but it has been a miracle for me.

I tried this product the day I got. After using it once during the day my breath felt fresh and had no smell. I used it that night and had no morning breath in the morning and no nasty taste in my mouth. the only con I have on this produch is the zinc after taste. Really weird but I am getting use to it.

Hands down the most effective mouthwash for fresh breath. I've been using the product daily for years now, and am very happy with it. It has completely eliminated morning breath, which was my biggest concern. An absolute must for anyone sharing sleeping space, especially those fond of spontaneous intimacy.

This purchase was a big waste of money. I purchased two packages. It is the worse tasting mouth rinse that I have ever used. If it tasted bad, but it worked, I could deal with that. Save your $$ and don't get this rip off product.

After decades of horrible, bad breath, this product is like a miracle. I've been to dentists, oral surgeons, tried every breath freshening product you can think of, but to no avail. I am so thankful and happy now and my social life has greatly improved. People don't back away from me anymore. This really works. I use two squirts from each of the two bottles. Once in the morning and once at night. Smart Mouth should be given out by dentists!

My lady used to tell me when I walked into a room and spoke it smelled like something had died in my mouth. I started using SmartMouth mouthwash and now she treats me like I am George Clooney!!! This stuff works great and lasts all day. Although the package instructions say to use 4 pumps from each bottle I use 3 pumps in the morning and 2 pumps at night and we are all good. If it can work for me it can work for anybody.
For adults and children 6 and older. For best results, rinse twice every day after brushing. Solutions 1 and 2 must be mixed together immediately before rinsing!
Remove caps and tamper-evident seals from both bottles
Insert pumps into bottles and unlock by turning pumps counterclockwise
Pump 4 times from each bottle into the enclosed mixing cup
Rinse immediately and vigorously for 30-60 seconds, gargle and spit out
Repeat rinsing every morning and night, or every 12 hours
With regular, twice-daily rinsing, you should experience maximum effectiveness within 1-2 weeks. Re-rinsing is recommended after eating foods containing onion or garlic. Although SmartMouth is completely safe, do not swallow. Store at room temperature.
Important Note: Initial use of SmartMouth Mouthwash may create a brief dry sensation or temporary change in taste perception. If these persist, reduce the amount of Smart Mouth Mouthwash used and/or reduce the rinsing time.
