When I discovered Smarty Pants I was very excited to have found one vitamin that offered so many benefits for one low cost (rather than multiple gummy vitamins and the individual costs that go along with each one of them). I ran the breakdown of vitamins/supplements past my friend who is a naturopathic doctor and he gave it the okay (including the source of the fish oil and third-party laboratory testing). When we received the vitamins, my son was a little apprehensive to take it since he was used to traditional gummy vitamins, not these which have a sugary surface. When he first tried it, he did not like it and gave me a bit of a hard time about taking it. I tried one to see what it tasted like and sure enough, it does have a slight fish oil taste towards the end of chewing it. It is slight and something you an get used to, but it does not taste amazing or candy-like in any way. That being said, I imagine most supplements with fish oil have this slight "off" taste as it must be difficult, if not impossible, to mask the fish taste completely. After a very short time though, I was able to get my son to take these regularly. They are still the last thing on his plate after breakfast and dinner, but with a gentle reminder he'll take them without much back and forth. Overall, vitamin was the answer to what I was searching for so I am pleased with the product and very happy he is now taking them without much hesitation. Cons Best Uses Comments about SmartyPants All-in-One Gummy Multi-Vitamins Plus Omega-3 and Vitamin D for Kids, 120 ea: We received a sample of these in a special promotion from Drugstore.com and they were a big hit! I also take the adult formulation. I only wish they contained more dha, I usually look for at least 100 mg, but I can continue to supplement for that. Pros

Comments about SmartyPants All-in-One Gummy Multi-Vitamins Plus Omega-3 and Vitamin D for Kids, 120 ea: These Gummy Vitamins taste great! My husband takes them and he does not take anything else. For females, you might want to add some calcium/magnesium if this is your mulit-vitamin of choice. Pros

Comments about SmartyPants All-in-One Gummy Multi-Vitamins Plus Omega-3 and Vitamin D for Kids, 120 ea: These vitamins are so much better for my child than the ones I was buying at the big box store so I feel good giving them to him. He never refuses them so they must taste good, and he always says, "I feel smarter already." Pros Cons Best Uses

Comments about SmartyPants All-in-One Gummy Multi-Vitamins Plus Omega-3 and Vitamin D for Kids, 120 ea: I have tried just about every vitamin out there and these are the only ones my son will take. I wish there were less sugar but since we eat a super healthy, low-glycemic diet, I feel fine giving him this 5g of sugar so that he'll get all of the important nutrients he needs (especially when he's going through a picky eating stage). They are more like gum drops than vitamins so I wish they were named differently but we've been really pleased with them for the past 6 months. Pros

Comments about SmartyPants All-in-One Gummy Multi-Vitamins Plus Omega-3 and Vitamin D for Kids, 120 ea: I love the fact that all the vitamins and extras my son needs is in one vitamin and without the fish taste. Have tried others and my son couldn't get pass the fish smell and taste. My son has a problem with focusing in school and after 4 weeks see a small difference. Waiting to see what long term use does. Comments about SmartyPants All-in-One Gummy Multi-Vitamins Plus Omega-3 and Vitamin D for Kids, 120 ea: I have been struggling for over a year to find a omega 3 supplement that both my children will take. To my shock and delight, they both love this supplement! Even my daughter who recently has refused to take any vitamins. I will definantly keep purchasing this one. Pros

Best Uses Comments about SmartyPants All-in-One Gummy Multi-Vitamins Plus Omega-3 and Vitamin D for Kids, 120 ea: These are ok but I plan on buying another brand b/c they are coated with too much sugar and you need to give 4 a day. I feel so guilty giving that to my daughter who is 3. If you made them just gummies with out the extra coating of sugar I might reconsider. Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about SmartyPants All-in-One Gummy Multi-Vitamins Plus Omega-3 and Vitamin D for Kids, 120 ea: My kids age 7, 10 and 12 all agree that these are the worst tasting gummy vitamins they have tried - and we have tried a lot of them. I tried them as well and they really are foul-tasting. And to make matters worse the bottle says that the dosage for a child (over age 3) is FOUR a day! That seems like a lot of vitamins for a kid to be popping. (One a day or two is plenty. ) Vitafusion gummies taste better. ![]() |
