I have been using this product for years, and will never buy a different primer, though I have purchased primers from almost every line out there. For me it works better than even Urban Decay, Too Faced, Tarte, Benefit, Bare Escentuals, etc. It goes on in a light nude color, is creamy to blend and then settles to a matte finish that simply won't budge. Shadows blend on it very easily and stay put ALL DAY. The colors of your shadow are magnified and the pigments are rich and true. You can blend with a brush easily but once you are done it won't move. I have oily eyes and they crease with other primers, but with this they don't crease at all, even 10 hours in. I use any gentle eye remover, and my eyes are never dry or irritated. For cons, I think this tint won't work on everyone since the product is thick - I am caucasian with fair/medium skin, so it works on me but probably not on darker skin tones. Note: there are a few products I feel are almost as good as this, and I'll explain their pros and cons: Too Faced (works perfectly and is more sheer; but is harder to remove; and creases itself, so you have to blend it); Bare Escentuals also works really well but is harder to remove. I personally don't want to use a harsher eye makeup remover daily.

I have tried a wide variety of eyeshadow bases and this is "THE" worst. It creases in a matter of minutes always, don't apply smoothly, and is not versatile for a variety of skin complexions. I feel horrible that I bought it and have no one to give it to like a little girl who loves to play in makeup. I would throw it in the trash but all I see is my money being thrown away so I only use it when I want to practice using different eyeshadow styles and will wipe off immediately.

Ladies, do not wear this out in public because you will look absolutely crazy and will be embarrassed. I'm glad to share this information to save many people from a hugh disappointment.

This product looks like it would have some pink in it -- no way. It is an awful bright beige color that goes on really thick - not subtle at all. There's no way I could wear this without covering it with eyeshadow. Didn't see any improvement in smoothing the eyelid for shadow. My normal eye cream performs better than this product.

This lid primer really goes on smoothly and keeps your eye makeup from creasing and fading all day. I have used several different primers and this is the best.

Looks great by itself or with eyeshadow colors. The eyeshadow color looks more vibrant with no unsightly creases. Lasts all day!

I really like this product. It glides on and is an excellent base of eye shadow or just wear it alone. Doesn't crease, looks really natural. My skin tone is fair to medium.

I purchased the Smashbox Master's Class GlamourEyes - Brown, which included this lid primer. That was my first introduction to lid primer of any kind and since then will never look back! It really makes a huge difference, not only covering lid discoloration, but keeping your shadow on all day. After hearing so many great things about Urban Decay Primer Potion, I tried that and hated it compared to this. Not only is it simple to apply with the wand, but there is no icky smell that Urban Decay's formula has. Highly recommend you get yourself some!
