Once I got past the top layer this became a little easier, but I still have to press really hard and use a lot to get any on my lips. It does make my lips soft and provide mositure, but it's not worth the hassle of getting it onto my lips. It also tastes kind of funny. I was disappointed with the texture plus it didn't really smell like lemon honey. It tasted weird too.

It is certainly better than their skinny sticks with spf. Not too greasy or overly waxy, and the price is very reasonable. It does get a little sticky after a while, probably from the flavor and/or the honey.

Before getting this lip balm I have having to use a lip scrub weekly to sluff off all my dry skin. Gross! This lip balm has helped keep my lips moisterized in the very dry climate I'm in right now (currently deployed to the middle east). Definitely recommend this product.

Comments about Softlips Beeswax Lip Conditioner, Lemon Honey, 1 ea: This quickly became my favorite and it's nicely priced. The lemon honey taste is great, yet subtle and it smells great. It is not a heavy duty lip balm and I do find the need to reapply, but that doesn't bother me. I alternate it with Badger Lavender and Orange Natural Lip Care balm which I purchase with it from drugstore.com. This pair works well for me in keeping my lips soft and healthy.
