Do not use this product with a razor.
Caution: contains Thioglycolate. Follow directions carefully. This product may cause skin irritation. If skin is inflamed or has skin abrasions, facial sores or pustules, consult a dermatologist before using this product.
If your hair is longer than 1/8th of an inch, cut hair shorter before using. Wait 36 hours after using any razor, shaving product or device. Do not use after perspiring. Do not shampoo hair before use. Do not use after prolonged sun exposure. Do not use with any after-shave product containing alcohol.
Timing is critical to avoid excessive irritation. For external use only. If cream gets into eyes, rinse repeatedly with water. Magic®Smooth is only used to maintain the bald style. Keep out of reach of children. You must conduct a patch test when using for first time.
I use this product for under-arm and bikini area hair removal. I am female and do not like wax or razor irritation. I stole this product from my husband. It works very well despite the smell. The smell has been improved from the first version of the product. SoftSheen-Carson has another version of this product, Not Sold here, which is stronger and much better for facial hair, regular to coarse beards. This version is for tender scalp skin. You MUST FOLLOW the instructions exactly for best results. Use a timer to make sure you do not leave it on too long.
I used to use razors and shave cream and after shave but I still got razor bumps. I used this under my arms and on my bikini zone and I was bump free. This product is smelly but it works READ the directions and DO NOT leave on your skin longer than 9 mins or you may irritate your skin. Apply to dry skin let it set for about 5 -7 mins take a wet wash cloth and wipe cream off your skin and the hair will come right off. I used this product because I was tired of getting razor bumps and it worked just fine. NO I DID NOT USE IT TO TAKE HAIR OFF MY HEAD but I used it under my arms and on my bikini zone.
This product is not for really for facial hair, but that is not fully explained on the radio commercials. I bought sight unseen and wasted my money. Please revamp the formula so it can be used as a shaving product. You have no smooth formula for facial hair.
Test: Apply cream to a quarter size area of the head. Wait 6-9 minutes. Remove. Do not scrape. Rinse area thoroughly. After 24 hours, if there are not signs of irritation or redness, follow directions below:
Do not use this product with a razor. Do not wash head before using.
Apply petroleum jelly to ears and back of neck. Apply cream to head. Allow cream to remain on head for 6-9 minutes. If cream dries, remoisten by patting with wet finger tips.
Remove a damp washcloth or a safe and smooth plastic edge; do not scrape cream aggressively from head area.
Rinse head thoroughly. Do Not Wash Off With Soap. If hair remains, wait 24 hours before next Magic® Shave Product application.
