We continuously buy the refill and just refill our original dispenser. It has fish that my son loves to look at. It's inexpensive and lasts a few months and we use it all day long in the bathroom.

While I'm a brand buyer, refills of liquid soap in good brands tend to be ridiculously expensive. I have a ceramic liquid soap dispenser, as I dislike liquid soap bottles (they don't look that good when half or more empty & tend to topple over towards the end of their life span). This is a clear, very lightly-scented, basic soap. Can't imagine anyone being allergic to it. While it's not antibacterial, it lathers very well & leaves the skin feeling clean. It is drying, as are most liquid soaps. But as I am a faithful user of hand cream anyway, I don't really care about that. If you are just looking for a simple, all-purpose liquid soap (this also works well for washing hair & makeup brushes, delicates, etc.), this is an inexpensive one to buy for the volume.
