Comments about Solar Sense Clear Zinc Sport, Lotion, SPF 50, 5 fl oz: They reformulated this product maybe a year ago. Added almost three times as much Zinc Oxide. I wish they hadn't made the change. It was easy to apply and worked well before. Now it is almost unusable because it is so pasty and thick. Pros

Comments about Solar Sense Clear Zinc Sport, Lotion, SPF 50, 5 fl oz: The clear zinc has worked well for our family for the past couple of years. Our grandson is 3 and has severe allergies and skin problems. It is one of the few products that protects his skin and actually improves his skin. Our daughter says that it is the only sunscreen that she will use for her children. My husband and I both use it and we have been very pleased with it. Pros

Best Uses Comments about Solar Sense Clear Zinc Sport, Lotion, SPF 50, 5 fl oz: I am a triathlete and spend 2-3 hours a day outdoors at least 5 days a week. I also have extremely sensitive skin, and when my dermatologist recommended I use sunscreen with physical blockers zinc oxide and titanium, I tried many but found the chalky white goop layer inconvenient. Well, after trying "clear zinc" (which sounded too good to be true anyways), I'll be sticking with the real stuff. It doesn't protect my skin at all, even swimming 30 minutes outdoors, much less on a 2 hr bike ride. And to our other reviewer, if you get a tan while wearing it, that doesn't count as sun protection! That is sun damage! if you take your sunscreen seriously, do not buy this product and go for a real zinc oxide sunscreen like Neutrogena Senstiive Skin SPF 60, or Blue Lizard for something less goopy. Comments about Solar Sense Clear Zinc Sport, Lotion, SPF 50, 5 fl oz: This rubs in well and was not too greasy for my face(oily skin). I have medium complexion(Asian) and my face tanned a little but did not burn with one application. I just laid out in Hawaii and did not swim. However, because of the thinner texture we had to slather it on thickly on my husbands shoulders and back. The first day when it was rubbed in on his skin, he burned a little. He swam a little so I guess this is not waterproof enough. Anyway, his skin does not tan, it just burns. When we put this sunscreen on thickly enough like he had white butter on, he did not burn.
