These were replacement sunglasses--my last pair lasted me over three years, which is very good for the lack of care that they got. Although I have transition lenses, I still need more protection in certain situations (like driving into the sun) and these are perfect and the price is even better! Also so much more conventent to just remove the sunglasses than to change from the clear glasses to the prescription sunglasses while shopping!!
