Small capsule, easy to swallow. Has extra ingredients besides DHEA (adrenal gland concentrate (from cows), Mexican yam extract, eleuthero/Siberian ginseng), which you may or may not want. It's not clear what they're supposed to do or why they were included except maybe in general to improve slow metabolism, fatigue and so forth that come with age and decreased hormone levels. Mexican yam extract contains diosgenin (a plant steroidal soponin) that has a mild estrogenic effects and which recent studies also seem to show can reduce cholesterol levels by increasing cholesterol excretion - so possibly an added bonus.
