I use this after shaving because it is so soothing. Much better than the plain aloe gel products. Just wish it smelled a little better, but that's a minor complaint.

I have VERY acne prone skin and regular lotions, ie. acne lotions, do not help my cause. I have used this product as a moisturizer and a redness reducer for a little while now and I am very happy. The aloe is non greasy, great moisturizer and the lidocaine promotes healing and soothes as well. I know that my skin gets irritated during a breakout and this product soothes it and promotes healing of the stuff that I can not help to pick at. I am a professional welder and a SCUBA diver and my skin gets burned all of the time. I use this stuff religiously to relieve my itching and burning pain of a burn or sunburn. This stuff works wonderful on insect bites and any other irritation of the skin. When you use this stuff, it will be a little sticky and tight feeling at first, be patient and wait a few and you will feel better. I wear it under make up and it works just fine.......tip...give it 5 to dry first.

I travel to the Mexican Riviera twice a year and sometimes even with a high spf sunscreen, burning is inevitable. This product is always in my travel bag if I am hitting the beach because it immediately cools down the burn, takes the redness out, and helps keep me from peeling. It's an amazing product and I have used it for years. I apply it on the same way I would a mask and let it dry on my skin. Starts out sticky but dries pretty fast.
