I use these when I go walking to prevent my calloused toe from getting worse. I wear them on both toes, even though only one has the callous problem. They are so comfortable that I hardly know they are on my toes. The first ones I purchased from a local drug store and am still using. I figured they will eventually wear out and/or break so I ordered enough from drugstore.com to keep me going for a long time because the local drug store no longer has them in stock. The toe rings are not too tight or too loose. The only negative is that when putting socks on over them, they tend to roll down so I have to work them up to being flat again. For me that's not a big negative because they have made walking much more enjoyable.
