Being a coffee drinker and smoker too that isn't easy to accomplish. I also have this habit of running my tongue over my teeth all the time and hate it if there is a rough spot found. Plus with doing this thing with my tongue if there are rough spots, my tongue will get sore so it's really important that my teeth feel their cleanest. I've used electric toothbrushes most of my adult life (30+ yrs) and have never gotten the results I wanted. Until now that is! With the slightest pressure and a short amount of time (2 min) my teeth felt wonderful and so slick and clean I could hardly believe it! In the past I would always press the brush hard into my teeth to be certain that I got them their cleanest, including in between my teeth too. Not necessary with this brush. I bought the Hydro-Clean brush heads and with this machine and those brushes, my teeth feel just as clean as they do when I have them cleaned by a professional! Not saying anyone should skip regular visits to their dentist but if you can't make it as often as you should, this brush will keep them just as clean in-between your visits. Not nearly as much work for the dental hygienist when they clean them next time - they won't find much to clean! This is worth every penny I paid for it and I know I will never choose another brand should this one ever wear out. [...] Compared to the original, this one looks more elegant, but functions in a much less satisfying way. My original worked for ten years--and was still running fine, but it was hard to keep clean. I upgraded to this one b/c of the U/V cleaning feature, and now I regret it. My old one was awesome, but this one is uncomfortable to hold in my hand, I always want the sensitive setting, but to get there, I have to click a button four times every time, it's also more likely to accidentally turn on while I'm applying toothpaste. I just can't recommend it to others. Try another brand--or keep your old one! Pros

UV sanitation station is part of the base. Base is compact. Brush head is small and cleans beautifully; has indicator on brush that signals time for brush change. Only two flaws--1) brush head does not fit securely into base and easily comes apart if nudged during brushing 2) OFF button turns off easily if fingers touch even lightly. All in all, a great product. Pros

Cleanings every 3 months but this toothbrush cleans better than manual. Teeth feel smooth and gums are gently cleaned. Highly recommend even though pricey. Only drawback is it is messy. But better if keep lips closed to brush. Pros

I have the early stages of periodontal disease, but no dental coverage. In the first month of use, I've noticed my gums itch less, I have less tooth pain in areas where a pocket has formed, and the areas of noticeable gum recession look cleaner and healthier. Even my husband is impressed and loves to brush with it! Pros

If you're not used to ultrasonic it may seem too powerful at first but your teeth and gums will definately be in better shape Pros

I did lots of research and it was clear that this one was the one for me. My teeth feel so clean after I brush. The timer is also a really great feature for me because I tend to brush way too long. This keeps me on track and makes me concentrate on getting all areas equally. The only negative thing I could say about it is that it takes a few days for your month to handle it. My husband almost gave up because he couldn't stand the tickle sensation. After about a week he was totally fine. Now we don't even notice. Displaying reviews 121-130
