Have been using it for a few weeks now. Almost immediate results in improving my gums, really toughens them up and the feeling from that is wonderful and yet difficult to describe. There is much less discomfort when flossing and I feel like there is less food getting stuck in my teeth / gumline because of the effect on my gums. I had the old version for about 10 years and this new version is markedly improved upon. I would recommend highly as there is NO WAY a regular tooth brush (or a Harmon / Shop Rite vibrating toothbruch) can compare or remotely yield these kinds of results.

The instructions are a bit much but worth reading so you can use all the features of the product. So far very happy. Hope it lasts another 10 years.

Still new but good product. Good buy at Drugstore.com. It is still new so we'll see how long it goes.

My dentist recommended I get an electric brush because I am an overly aggressive brusher and was experiencing gum recession as a result. This brush has made a huge difference for me. I absolutely LOVE it.

Definitely worth the purchase. Your teeth will feel really clean and you will have many options as far as how long to brush. It has a setting for 1,2,and 3 minutes in case you are in a rush or want to brush extra time.

The sanitizer is a bonus.

Also it's a lot quieter than other brands I have tried.

Another good thing is that it gives you a slightly different vibration every 30 seconds to let you know to move to a different area.

The only downsides I can see are: one, if you paid full price, and second that the button to select the time settings is too sensitive and you sometimes press it when brushing.

Like the compact deisign of this new model and the travel charger if I go on longer trips.
The unit seems to hold a charge for a long time, over two weeks easily. So when I travel I can just bring the handle with the brush.

I love it,simply love it. I brush my teeth 3times a day (not bcoz I like brushing my teeth,just bcoz I think I need). But with this toothbrush,brushing is not the tedious personal care routine anymore.

I have never been excited about a toothbrush but the flexcare rocks! I had an older sonicare brush a few years back and it was just so-so. When the battery on the old brush died I went back to regular brushes. One day I decided to look into electric brushes again and found the flexcare w/ UV sanitizer. It was love at first use. My mouth had that tingly feeling afterward and felt sooo clean. I was never great at dental hygiene and my gums have been starting to recede which is why I started looking into electric brushes again. Anyways a couple weeks of using the flexcare 2-3 times a day and my gums are already showing quite a bit of improvement.

The different programs/settings are nice but nothing incredible. I mostly use the "clean" program and sometimes the "max care." The brush is comfortable to hold and easy to use. Cleans easily as well; just pull the brush head off and rinse both head and handle; place the head in the UV sani. Done.

The only negative is the non-replaceable battery, but hey Philips provides a 2yr warranty. If the brush dies after 2 years, so be it, I'll buy another. Why? Because it's worth every penny I spent on it!
I let my mom try it once (with the spare brush head) and she insisted I buy her one. Buy the flexcare, you will love it.

We've owned the Philips sonicare brushes before and are thrilled by the purchase of these newer model brushes. You no longer have to deal with the gunk buiildup inside the brush head and there was a lot of thought put into the design and package here. The fact that you have a travel size charger and a smaller brush with different cleaning modes is great. My two minor complaints are hte soft side case for traveling and the UV sanitizer.The former is a bit hard to fit the brush into and seems like a cost cutting move. The latter is hard to get the brush head into and not intuitive. Great brush through and enjoy it a lot!
