I compared all the Sonicares and chose this one because it seemed to have the right amount of bells and whistles (who needs 5 different speeds?). It does the job well, no complaints.

I love how effective this is at cleaning my teeth. I don't really use the Clean and White mode so I can't really say whether it would really make my teeth whiter. After brushing for a full 2 minutes already, I find it hard to go the extra 30 seconds for that mode when I'm trying to get ready in the morning. In hindsite I would have purchased the model without that for a little less. I also think that they could've done a better job on the charger unit design for holding the brush heads when not in use. They fall over too easily if bumped. Kind of a minor thing, but definitely could use a little improvement, like a longer post similar to that on the handle. The motor on mine died after about 16 months, but since there's a 2 year warranty, they are sending me a replacement at no charge. Philips' customer service was great. This is my second Sonicare, the first one (an older E-Series which still works), I only changed because I got tired of the bulky screw on brush heads and trying to get them on straight. On these, the brush head just pushes on. Fast, easy & convenient (especially when more than one family member shares the handle).

I can't vouch for the whitening aspect at this time because I only started using this toothbrush a week ago. But I am amazed at how much cleaner my teeth feel than my old $10 electric toothbrush. My teeth feel much cleaner and when I floss there is much less plaque. This toothbrush is expensive but worth it to me. I love the two minute timer too and following their recommendations for brushing, I actually feel like I need the full two minutes.

My previous Sonicare had finally begun to wear out after two years (I had the Essence). I feel mine was faulty as my fiancé has had his for four years now, same style, and he has never had an issue. I decided I needed to bite the bullet and invest in another quality toothbrush as my teeth have never been incredible.

The first time I used this toothbrush, I immediately noticed a reduction in plaque. I know this because when I tried to push air through my teeth, I actually could! This usually only happens after flossing, which I intentionally skipped the first time to see if other reviews were right.

After having this product about four weeks, I definitely notice a slight whitening to my teeth. This will not completely whiten your teeth, but it definitely helps. My teeth also feel clean for hours after use and my breathe tastes fresher as well.

The way I see it, you (hopefully) only buy a new toothbrush every several years, so why not invest in one that will be a great benefit for your teeth? The one downside I have is that I can't seem to get the toothpaste to quit running down my hand toward the end of the two-minute cycle. This never happened with my old toothbrush, so it's probably due to the increased power. I would DEFINITELY recommend this product to anyone that cares about their personal dental hygiene. I can't wait to see my dentist again next month to see what she has to say!

I love this product, the way it cleans, the smaller handle size compared with other electric toothbrushes. My only complaint is that mine completely died after one year of daily use and will now need to be replaced. Seems a little soon considering the $$$ it cost.

I am going to purchase three more of these brushes.One for work and one for my older married children. My dental checkups are amazing and when I get them cleaned the hygienist is blown away at how little plaque I have. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BRUSH!!!!

This product is well worth the $. The timer feature is great; I also like the sensitive setting option. I prefer the compact head, but also on occasion use the regular head. It was nice that it came with both heads and a travel case. My teeth feel very clean after each use. I actually now look forward to brushing my teeth. I am looking forward to my next dental appointment to see if they notice any difference.

I recently purchased this toothbrush after a visit to the dentist. I have been using it for only about 3 weeks now, and already can see such a difference in how my teeth look; they are definitely whiter. And I love how my teeth feel after using it - it's just like having been to the dentist for a teeth cleaning. Up until now I have always used a manual toothbrush, but no more. I love this toothbrush, and am never going back!
