This is the only eye ointment I can use since it does not have the Inactive Ingredients: Anhydrous Liquid Lanolin nor does it contain preservatives both which can cause eye irritation after long use.

I tried it at night before bed. Woke up about three hours later with my upper lid stuck to my eye. (This happened numerous nights.) Stuff didn't last at all. Genteal lasts two to three times longer than this product.

My eyes are so dry I rip my cornea. This is the BEST product since it has NO Preservatives, and NO Lanolin. Both would cause burning in my eye since they are so sensitive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I had PRK (type of lasik). I found out that I keep my eyes slightly open at night when I'm sleeping which caused dry eye. I use this every night with an eye mask and my eyes feel so much better. If I don't use it every night I wake in the morning with very dry eyes.

I've had painful corneal abrasions in both eyes and severe corneal erosion in one, due to dry eye. I have used this Bausch and Lomb product for almost two years to stave off dry eye problems at night. It is the best of any I've tried.
