I began taking this supplement after reading it was good for those with fibromyalgia and post-excercise. As excercise is itself a maintainence treatment for fibromyalgia, it seemed to be worth a try. I've given up caffeine as well and these seem to give me an energy boost when I take them but, unlike caffeine, no jitters and no crashing.

They may be fruit flavored, but they're also something else gflavored, and, wow, are they nasty! I also didn't notice when ordering that the serving size is 3 tablets, which means each tablet only contains 1g of ribose. As it was recommended that I try 5g 2-3x/day, this one bottle will only last me like a week. I won't be buying this again.

I bought Ribose at the recommendaiton of the docs who wrote "You: Being Beautiful". I chew it up along with my daily Flintstone vitamin (believe it or not, it's what my nutristionist recommended for a daily vitamin!) so it's pretty good that way as it's a little eh, so so alone. I've been taking one daily instead of the 3 the label recommends and I do think it's been helping with energy. I'm also just starting to exercise again and it's supposed to help your muscles with soreness etc. Hard to tell but I'm going to keep taking it. I will probably get the powder form next time.

When I've got to get going but I feel bummed out, I realize that I've forgoten to take my d-Ribose. After chewing a tablet, I've got energy again, but do not become unreasonably energized to where I can't sit down.
