Not sure why these got some lackluster reviews, they taste great! Much better than your standard overpriced protein bar. Good chocolatey taste. I reach for one of these post workout to get my protein. Also at night when I'm craving some chocolate...I usually smear a 1/2 tablespoon of peanut butter on top, so yummy!

I eat a lot of bars but am careful that the ones I choose have little sugar and are higher in protein. This is one of my favorites. It's in the smaller sides, so they aren't too filling, but they're cheap and taste great.

I used to have a South Beath protein bar every morning for breakfast, then they became impossible to find, only to return to the shelf under Snack Well's label. A few months ago, they once again became impossible to locate, and here they are again, back under South Beach's name. But they are not the same bar anymore. The flavor is awful, and they seem more "condensed" in texture. I have made the switch to Nature Valley protein bars and will be sticking with those. These are not worth consuming anymore!

I am a protein bar junkie( I use in the am or for a snack on the go.calories, fat and protein are balanced but the texture was gritty .some pieces stuck in my teeth and were way too hard.they were very non-filling.will invest in my normal pricey bars cause they are made well.

I used to purchase South Beach Bars as a breakfast replacement. I always liked them. But this one was disappointing. It tasted good and was satisfying, but the texture was not good. The "rice crisps" didn't have a crunch. They were a little hard and chewy. I probably wouldn't buy them.
