I absolutely love this soap. I have several bars in my linen cupboard and in my dresser drawers; you don't even have to open the wrapping and after a few days it keeps the cupboard and drawers smelling wonderfully fresh and your bath linens and clothes lightly fragrant too.

It has a beautiful, pleasant scent that is not overpowering. If you use this for hands or bathing, you get to enjoy a relaxing scent while washing but it is not like other soaps that have so much perfume that you can't use your own fragrance after you get out of the shower. It disipates quickly, as it should.

This soap creates a very rich, luxurious lather, and cleans very well without causing dryness to my easily irritated and/or dried skin.

I have celiac disease and extremely sensitive skin and this soap does not irritate or burn at all. If you are looking for soap I would recommend giving this a try.

This soap lathers well and has a pleasant smell, not too overpowering. Works well for facial use.

Finally, a soap that my husband LIKES as opposed to him saying "it's ok"!!!!! He thinks the scent is clean and fresh and unisex. Even he prefers the smaller 4.25 oz size as do I. We hope South of France continues to make the smaller size available. I use Shea Butter. We are hooked for life as long as SOF doesn't change the formula!

These soaps are very fragrant. This could be a good or bad thing, depending on the customer. For me, it was too fragrant, and made me nauseous.
