The scent is strong in the container, but I liked it instantly. Tough to describe, though lemon grass is definitely in there- the green tea is less so. It's a clean scent that isn't floral yet is still feminine. You can smell it on your skin after, but it's definitely *much* lighter (which is a good thing). After one shower my skin felt great- moisturized without feeling like I still have something on my skin which is how shea butter treatments leaving me feeling. If your skin needs a great deal of moisturizing, this may not be the product for you. The true test for me will be whether it can keep my skin feeling good during a dry Alaskan winter. I'll definitely be buying a couple more to test out that theory.

I have used several salt scrubs before and I am not a fan of this one. The scent did not smell like lemongrass or green tea. It was also sticky and had an unusual texture.
