I received my new shipment of this product. The same UPC code. My old bottle was as described on this page - sourced in Norway & Iceland and 360mg EPA & 240 mg DHA with 200mg other Omega 3s for a total of 800 mg Omega 3 per 2 soft gels. The new bottle which is sourced in Noway & Peru, has 320 mg EPA & 200mg DHA with a total of 600 mg Omega 3 per 2 soft gels. I have to take 3 softgels of the new product (same UPC) to get what I was getting before in 2.

It's time to go fish oil shopping.

I have tried other fish oils and have found this one to be my favorite. I take two first thing in the morning. When I am trying to conceive, pregnant or nursing, I make sure I take these every day. There is no taste at all--I've never had a burp that has reminded me of fish. I keep them in the fridge.

You can't go wrong with these.

I take 2 of these pills in the morning with my vitamin. No aftertaste at all. My doctor told me that in his opinion, every adult should take fish oil, so if it can't hurt, why not take it. I chose this brand based on the ingredients and the price, and I'm completely satisfied. Unless new studies show that fish oil does nothing, I'll keep taking these.

A good product for people trying to get your omega 3s. I like that the source is from wild caught small fish. It is also important that it is tested for levels of mercury, pcbs and other contaminates that can accumulate in all fish. Small fish are generally less contaminated and are still more plentiful in the wild than larger fish like cod and salmon. Farmed fish are not a good source because they are fed things wild fish would never eat. The softgel is kind of large, but most omega 3 supplements are the same size.

I used to take two of these a day at the recommendation of my Naturopathic Physician, then when I got pregnant, my midwife upped my dose to 4 a day. There are studies that show that taking 4 of these a day can prevent asthma in offspring. It's easy to take, no smells or burps, and is great insurance in my opinion!

I use fish oil regularly and really like this one. It has more testing and a cleaner source as well as being less fishy tasting and doesn't come back to haunt you.

After two years of taking Spectrum Fish Oil, two gel capsules a day after dinner, I compared my blood test results before I started taking this product to my blood test results now.
