Comments about Spectrum Essentials PreNatal DHA, 60 ea: I really like this product, however was disappointed to find out upon receiving the product that the capsule is NOT vegetarian and contains gelatin. I think it's great that the DHA is not fish oil based, but wish the capsule didn't contain gelatin. I know they make another DHA that is completely vegetarian friendly (as I have taken it with previous pregnancies), but drugstore.com does not carry it. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend (1 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Spectrum Essentials PreNatal DHA, 60 ea: I have been using this product since trying to conceive. My daughter is now 1 month and I am continuing to use it because I am breastfeeding. I did a lot of research before settling on this DHA supplement. First, I like that the DHA is non-fish sourced. Second, it is a good value. It costs a couple dollars less per 60 day supply than Expecta (Spectrum prenatal DHA is a 60 day supply and Expecta is 30 day so multiply the cost of Expecta by 2 and you come out at at LEAST 2 dollars more for Expecta). Comments about Spectrum Essentials PreNatal DHA, 60 ea: I have been taking this DHA supplement since I was 7 month pregnant. I was suspecious about its effect. She was able to turn her head to sounds at born. Now my daughter is almost 3 months old. I notice that she has very good eyes and develops well. She can recognize me and other people in the household well. Most of all, she is happy and laughs all the time.
