The seat would be fine for a little girl's use, but for our boy a tall "spash guard" was what we needed and thought we were purchasing. He's only 17 months old and not ready to potty-train yet but he can set up the seat by himself. We are not going to use the little guard that comes with it because I've heard they're not practical and don't work. Can be easily wiped down to clean, seems very sanitary. Our son seems comfortable sitting on it. Easily stowed under the sink for easy access for our son later on. Does slide around a bit while son is trying to climb up to sit on it but once he's sitting down it is stable. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful?
