This lotion is not greasy and has a pleasant, mild scent. It absorbs quickly and leaves my skin feeling soft. I have severe dry skin and have to apply this lotion more than once a day to keep winter dryness at bay. I have found other lotions that work better, but they are too thick and greasy. Overall, this is a good everyday lotion, but may not help with the most severe dry skin.

I use this as an everyday moisturizer and it's decent considering it can be bought at drugstores. I used to use body butter from ______'s Secret which was heavenly but too expensive for my unemployed self. So this will never top that, BUT this smells awesome (a bit like oatmeal cookies but not annoyingly food like) and it makes my skin soft. I like that the scent is light enough to be combined with any perfume and they won't be competing or clashing. I don't really need a lotion to be "natural" but it certainly is a pro. One of the cons is that if you don't rub it in well, you'll feel a greasy patch on your skin. Another con is the stupid pump bottle, I'd rather have my lotion in a tub so that I can use all of what I paid for and not have to cut open the bottle to get the last remains out (cheap I know, but this economy is rough). So if St. Ive's changed that and made it like $1.50 cheaper, it'd be 5 stars for sure.

I have very dry skin. St. Ives Naturally Soothing Oatmeal and Shea Butter Body Lotion is very creamy and smooth, without being heavy or greasy. And, it absorbs quickly. When I use this lotion my skin feels softer, and looks great. The lotion has a barely there, very pleasant scent. This is the first lotion I've tried that claims to be soothing, and actually is soothing. It's great for all over the body, including dry heels, too.

I first bought this product because it was cheaper than many similar lotions, but I actually really like it! It's smooth, not greasy, and although I don't normally use a lot of scented products this one has a mild, sweet smell, like an oatmeal cookie. I use it after the shower, especially when I've just shaved my legs, to keep my skin from feeling dry or itchy. I sometimes also use it on my hands at bedtime, but because it's a lighter formula of lotion it doesn't have as much moisturizing power as a dedicated hand cream. Great as a body lotion, though!

I am so glad I tried this product. It's a great product at a great price. My skin feels soft and smooth after using it. Best of all, no paraben! I will never switch to anything else.
