The only reason I give it 4 stars is because I use a few other products to help with the type of skin that I have...so it may just help aid in my good skin vs. cause it if that makes any sense! :) This product is great to use because it is not as harsh as other exfoliating scrubs. I personally think it may be too rough to use daily and especially a few times a day...but I have sensitive skin and others would be fine. I DO use this probably 3 times a week or after a night of wearing extra makeup before I use my Neutrogena anti wrinkle anti blemish cleanser (something I would die without). The exfoliating helps to slough off any rough spots and caked on makup and really open up the pores so that my wash and toners can really get in there. I even will use this occasionally all over my body to get a gentle exfoliation...and then a moisturizing bodywash afterwards. And hey ladies...anything that exfoliates AND firms and tones...you have to love :) VS Most Liked Negative Review The scrubbing grains are not enough I tried this recently and was disappointed with the results. First of all it contains too few grains to be highly effective as a scrub. The label claims that the product contain alpha hydroxy acid but, I don't believe it contains a sufficient amount of aha to be effective as an exfoliator. The scent is nice and the exfoliation is soooo mild that Reviewed by 39 customers Sort by 7/10/2011 Not that bad =) By Tai from Orlando, Fl describe yourself Budget Buyer Pros

Comments about St. Ives Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub Renew & Firm, 6 oz: I love this product. I'm only 19. I bought the timeless skin by accident. When I got to the car and read the label, I'd say I was mad for like seven seconds hahaha. I got over it when I realized 1) I'm not letting four bucks and some change go to waste and 2)you're never too young to start caring for "timeless?" skin. Before I used this, my skin would either be dry and chapped or just oily. It also would sometimes be loose and not as firm and rejuvenating as I want it to be. From the moment my face made contact with the scrub, was the moment I fell in love. The smell is so invigorating and I get a REALLY good clean! After I use the scrub, I put a honey facial on my face for twenty minutes, then rinse it off. After that, I put my Clean n' Clear moisturizing lotion on my face then go to sleep. I use the scrub every other day. After three uses of this regimen, my skin became softer, firmer, even, and the pimples were put in check. I only gave it four stars because I use it with other products. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about St. Ives Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub Renew & Firm, 6 oz: I've been using St. Ives apricot scrub for over a decade. Many folks have tried to get me to ditch it and buy something expensive, but I don't think it's necessary. It takes off the dead skin and gives a nice glow. I use it about 2x a week. HOWEVER, I noticed with this most recent purchase that they have reformulated the scrub. The texture is finer. I don't like it. I don't think it does anything. That is why I am only giving three stars. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about St. Ives Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub Renew & Firm, 6 oz: I have been using this product for over 20 years - I always get compliments on my skin - I don't use a lot of makeup - and I don't overdo the skin cleansing. Be smart about your face - everything in moderation. This product, when used properly is like having a spa treatment at your fingertips without the spa price. I also use it in the shower when other body parts need pampering. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about St. Ives Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub Renew & Firm, 6 oz: works well for weekly/bi-weekly exfoliation of the facial skin. Not too rough; doesn't strip like some others Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review 1/23/2011 Not great smell Pros

Best Uses Comments about St. Ives Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub Renew & Firm, 6 oz: I like St Ives scrubs but this one smells a bit strange, almost like mushrooms. I also don't get the same clean skin feeling that I get with their invigorating scrub so I think I'll go back to it when I'm finished with this one. Comments about St. Ives Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub Renew & Firm, 6 oz: Ever since St. Ives changed their whole entire formula on just about everything I was deeply disappointed with the new results and stopped using St. Ives for a while. Then I saw this scrub and decided to give St.Ives another chance. I am so glad I did. I have sensitive, older skin and this scrub does not end up scratching my face open. I use it twice a week and apply the Collagen facial cream after that. After a couple of days my husband asked me what I had done to my face because I look more like a 28 year old then my true age 42; without breaking the bank :=) Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Cons Best Uses Comments about St. Ives Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub Renew & Firm, 6 oz: I am 29 years old and beginning to see the very first signs of aging. I was looking for something with AHA and happy I found this scrub. I have been using it for almost a year, 3-4 times a week and noticed an improvement in skin tone and texture. I does not dry out my skin and leaves it so soft. I stopped using for 6 wks & I noticed a loss of firmness around my lips and cheekbones! Someone commented that it's not as abrasive as the original. This is true, but this has AHA, any more scrubbiness & it would be too harsh. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Best Uses Comments about St. Ives Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub Renew & Firm, 6 oz: I have used St. Ives Apricot Scrub in the past but this one is very different. There's not alot of scrubbing "beads" and it's too creamy. I feel like I'm washing my face with thick lotion. I don't like the feel or the smell of it. I'll have to stick with my original St. Ives scrub. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend (2 of 3 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about St. Ives Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub Renew & Firm, 6 oz: It does want it's supposed to. I only use 3 times a week to deep clean and it works just as well as the Clinique exfoliant for 1/3 the price. The smell is pleasant and I don't have any bad reactions, even with my sensitive skin. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review 11/28/2010 too creamy to be a scrub Pros
Cons
Best Uses Comments about St. Ives Timeless Skin Apricot Scrub Renew & Firm, 6 oz: It is way too creamy to be used as a scrub, yet not good enough to use as a general face wash (as we all know, scrubs in general do not lather up), and I can't find a use for this. It is also hard to rinse off (like a slick of slippery residue) and the smell was nothing exciting. I bought it because it was on sale, but will not buy again. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Yes / No - You may also flag this review
