I have finally found something that works just as well (if not better) and doesn't smell weird or create any orange-ness like Mystic does! I find that its very easy to apply evenly, dries quickly and doesn't rub off on clothes. Most of all, you can apply it in your home and don't have to drive to a salon. I was scared of the color it turns your hands but I have found that it washes off immediately, even though it looks like it will stain. Its great for when you need an instant tan too since the bronzer creates a gorgeous brown. great product!! Well, I reviewed a bunch, and this one had the best overall rating, so I bought it. It is really easy to apply, just be sure to wash/scrub your hands after. It is hard to get the lotion on the top of the hands, because you have to wash the brown off your palms. its tricky. It did stain my pajamas once. Overall, i felt like it looked unnatrual and uneven. I gave it a few weeks and decided that I am just gonna tan naturally at the salon, yah its bad for me, but whats not!??! Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Lotion, 8 fl oz: I live in Hawaii and love having tan skin but cannot stand the sun damage, so sunless tanners are a mainstay for me. I use this on a regular basis and ALWAYS use it if I am going to a party, luau, dinner, or somewhere I want to look extra nice. The color is perfect every time. The color guide works wonderfully to help me make sure I have covered all areas. I put it on and then shower it off a few hours later and never have problems with it getting on my clothes once I've showered. I use the body polisher to make sure my skin is exfoliated prior to application and I use latex gloves to keep my hands from absorbing too much tanner - it has never come out looking less than perfect. The scent is subtle when you apply it and I find it nice, but it goes away once you shower so I never smell like a self-tanner and it never interferes with my perfume or lotion. This stuff is amazing, everyone should try it. My husband even uses it! I have sensitive, fair/medium skin and have never had issues with color (it is NEVER orange) or irritation. Pros

The smell is better than any self tanner on the market and it is by far the easiest application. It goes on like a really smooth lotion and dries very quickly. The only con is that you do have to use this product several times to achieve a good tan. The first application will only show a hint of color. But I would totally recommend this product because of the ease of application. Pros

I'm used to getting a much deeper tan with a self tanner, and this did nothing for me. I applied it and left it on overnight. I thought it was working at first but then the next day there was maybe a slight hint of color. I couldn't say that I was even a shade darker. Pros

It's not the easiest thing to apply (always use gloves, give plenty of drying time and plenty of time on before you shower), but it's the most effective I've ever found on the market. Pros

The scent is pleasant & not at all like other self tanning products. I would highly recommend this, worth every penny! Pros

Comments about St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Lotion, 8 fl oz: This self tanner is excellent. I am a fair skinned blonde blue eyed woman and love self tanners. I have tried Loreal, Clarins and more. Although this product is not cheap the results are worth it. You need to be careful when you apply this. Go to the [@] site for application videos. You apply the lotion to your face in light circular motions without rubbing too hard. Allow the residue to remain. Then with a hand buffer (they make one. I used a towel ) you LIGHTLY rub in a circular motion the excess so that it does not streak. Yes, you are removing a little bit, but it will give you a more even tan. Wait 4 hrs. and then wash it off to reveal the finished tan. The video also shows you how to apply to the body. LOVE this product.
