This is my second 2 qt thermos. I have used it daily for 3 yrs and want a spare. Use it for 12 hr hospital shifts primarily. Keeps coffee fresh! Prime with hot water , wait and then add fresh coffee. Cleans easily with Oxyclean and boiling water and let it sit a few hours. Rinse thoroughly with fresh water.

The best thermos ever. I have 2 of the 1 quart thermoses also but prefer the bigger.

My employer does not provide free coffee and I found I was spending $2.11 per day on coffee habit. I bought the thermos to save money and figured it will pay for itself in about 3 weeks. Only thing is, this thing is huge. I assumed it would be a normal sized thermos, but this thermos will hold an entire pot of coffee. While it may not be ideal in the office, it will be handy for road trips. After I have recovered the cost of this thermos, I plan to buy the one quart size. I believe Stanley makes the highest quality thermos, but was saddened to see they are now made in China.
