I bouught this at a local drug store after seeing it on the shelf. MRSA is prevalent in our area. I thought, prevention is a good idea. I am always cutting myself or my puppy scratching me. Well, this killls the minor pain of those fingernails and puppy scratches, cat scratches etc. I haven't gotten any more hang nail infections since I started using this either. I am now recommending this over neosporin to my patients as a preventative for their household first aid kit. Easy to use, packets fit in purses or kits, saddle bags, or motorcycle bags. I wouldn't keep it in a trunk or car during the summer though. I would think, that it would break down the chemicals, although I am not a chemist.....

Comments about StaphAseptic First Aid Bactericide Gel, 2 oz:
I purchased this item on a whim at a discount store thinking I would never use it. I had 4 infected bug bites this year already and cannot take antibiotics due to allergies. So I tried this product under a bandage. It was the only product I tried that helped drain these bug bites. Even a leading topical first aid cream did not do this! So I decided to order some to have on hand for the next catastrophe! I will never be without this product as long as it is produced!

this is a good product. It helps ease pain associated with minor cut, scrapes, etc. I've used it for a long time and believe it helps fight possible infection in cuts. Only wish it weren't so expensive.

This product has been a lifesaver. I keep a tube close by in the kitchen, medicine cabinet, backpack, and boat. I like that StaphAseptic is a preventative for infection. I would rather prevent than have to go to the doctor to treat an active infection. I use Staphaseptic each time I get a cut or scrape. It really seems to sooth and help with the pain.

I've been using this for a couple months and like it immensely. I first bought this for my father and he's reported success with it, as well. I like that the tube is large and lasts a long time.
Comments about StaphAseptic First Aid Bactericide Gel, 2 oz:
I guess the infections empetigo I get must be resistant to everything. The antibiotics that used to get rid of them does nothing any more. Neither did this. I'm still looking for something that will help.

I've used this on my daughter's impetigo that she gets on her face and it seems to help. It doesn't burn or sting. It does smell like tea tree oil though...I don't mind it because it really gets the job done!
