I followed the directions. These work better with time. They don't completely remove static but the chemical softeners don't completely remove it either; I'm delighted because I have realistic expectations. :) I use them to dry clothes, I rub them over synthetic clothes that tend to hold static, and I also keep one buy our microfiber couch which tends to be static-y. Much improved!

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because I have to use 2 of them for large loads - to be perfect it would be nice to only have to use one. However, the directions say to use 2, and they are reusable, so it's not really an issue.

If you look at a conventional dryer sheet before you put it in the dryer, and again after you take it out, you'll notice that it's much thinner. That's because it coated your clothes with the chemicals that were in it. Yuck. They can also stain your clothes - if you've ever noticed an oil-like stain in a strange spot that you don't remember getting, like I have many times, that can actually be caused by the dryer sheets. Not so great.

These Static Eliminator sheets will not stain clothes, since they don't have any chemicals on them. They remove static by their physical construction and fabric design.

They're reusable and they say they last 500 loads, so they reduce waste and are very environmentally friendly (also due to lack of chemicals).

I've found that I only need one for medium & small loads, and 2 for large loads. If I use 1 dryer ball with a large load then I only need 1 for large loads as well. Yes, these are perfect companions for dryer balls.

It's also important to use these sheets with technical clothing that is not supposed to be used with the softeners in most dryer sheets.

I would highly recommend these sheets without hesitation for use in all load types.

These are GREAT! The only way that I found that they DON'T work is if you don't read the box and you don't realize that, occasionally, you will have to pull something out and rub one of the dryer sheets across it to get out the static. But, all it takes is one quick rub, and it's like magic! Also, the box says that it helps to mix synthetics with your cotton items, but I really haven't tried to consciously follow that direction--and I've been SO HAPPY with the results. I keep both dryer sheets in the dryer along with 2 dryer balls, so maybe that helps. I LOVE that they are reusable, don't hurt the environment, and don't have any animal tallow, artificial fragrances or chemicals on them.

I bought this a couple weeks ago and love it - they work great - just like the real thing but less space taken up and less waste and they should last 3 years - yeah!!

These dryer sheets are odor free, economical and convenient. I do think the conventional dryer sheets work a little better at removing static, however.

These don't work at all, I have been looking for a natural dryer sheet for awhile, this another one to add to the does not work list!

I hate static! The static eliminator works better than nothing. But it's not perfect. I do notice a reduction in static so I will take what I can get. It is reusable and unlike dryer sheets contains no animal products or chemicals which I think is significant.

I want to give up conventional dryer sheets. These reusable sheets may reduce static a little but does not eliminate it. I also tried the method disposable cloths which are more effective but not so convenient because they are wet and it's difficult to remove just one at a time from the package.
