I've used Stimudents for years. The health of my gums improved tremendously and I continuously get excellent reports from my hygeniest. However, over the last year or so the quality has deteriorated. It used to be that I could use one pick for my whole mouth. Then they started bending and splintering easily. At first I thought I just got a bad batch, after that I decided the humidity in the bathroom was softening them so I moved them to a dry location. Nothing has helped. I now find myself needing 2-3 picks to finish my mouth. I'm looking for a comparable product, but all I can find is plastic picks which are too harsh.

I use stimudents instead of floss, and my dentist tells me to 'keep doing what I'm doing' because my gum health is good - even after 65 yrs.

I have used them for years and consider them indispensible. Have always bought them from my local retailers but the stores all stopped carrying them. I assume it was because Johnson & Johnson dropped this product. I am greatful that I can get them from drugstore.com.

Works well to stimulate gums to keep them from receding. Highly recommended by my dentist. Given imperfect teeth, the sticks break easily.

Stimudent is a must-have for anyone interested in healthy gums (and teeth). My dentist introduced me to them and I've been using it for years and years. It takes only a few minutes and leaves your mouth feeling refreshed and really clean. Use them gently and consistently and you'll have the healthiest gums in town! I saw my mother battle gum disease and I don't want to go through that. Also, gum disease can lead to infections elsewhere in the body. Just use Stimudent and don't worry!

My dental hygienist recommended these. I use one every evening prior to brushing. They feel and taste good and I much prefer them to flossing (which, to be honest, I rarely did.)
