These wedges are like store-brand wedges. More product gets soaked up and left in the wedge than goes on your skin. They have that "spongy" feel, not soft and smooth like other wedges. I've only tried these for liquid applications. I wouldn't purchase again.

I don't see anything wrong with these wedges, they're quite soft, easy to pinch for better contouring and distribution and I never have a problem with crumbling of the sponge. I've tried a lot of different wedges, some that feel like sandpaper, these are nice for the price.

I actually use these for my totally powdered mineral foundation. I found using the same brush for my mineral foundation was a pain since it wasn't clean everytime I used it, and I couldn't wash it every single day. I just use these wedges once on each side, then throw them away. It's much more hygienic.
