The only negative is that I had expected the mirror to fold around and prop open for use while traveling. It does open but only sits flat.

I am really happy with the mirror and the price I paid for it. I like the fact that it is in a case which helps keep the mirror clean. For me it has the perfect size. Great for applying makeup. I am going for the second one before it disappears!

This is about the size of a cd disk nice magnification, love that it is a compact form. would def recommend!

this mirror is exactly as described. the enlarged side does not distort nearly as much as other mirrors do.
i would like to have a 10x mirror for extra close up.

as someone else has written, it is probably too big to carry in your handbag, but its great to use at home or while you are travelling, i know its cheap but the quality has not been a problem for me, i've used it for over 4 months now and i definately love using it especially the magnifying side for any detail work that i do for my face, would recommend it

If you have a big purse the size of this might be nice but I personally have a small purse and there is no way this can fit. It is about 4 inches in diameter. The quality is nice though so if you're ok with the size its a good compact for the price.

I love this mirror. For the price, it is great bargain. It is a little large for putting in a purse, but I use it for travel and it is a great size! My friend really loved it, so bought one for her too!

I bought this mirror to use at home as I have 2 very young kids and I usually apply my makeup anywhere I can in the house, when I get the chance to. So I thought this mirror will be useful to keep in my makeup bag. But I must say I am disappointed. I'm wondering if I'm expecting too much for the price of this mirror! Firstly, the plastic on one side of the hinge is chipped off, so that leaves a sharp area on my mirror. Secondly, I expected the mirror to be self-standing after it is opened, but instead, after opening the mirror, I have to lean it against a wall or something and then adjust the mirror slightly so that I can see myself. So for instance, I find myself with some free time while the kids are preoccupied in the morning and decide to put on my makeup while standing in the kitchen. I can't just open the mirror on the kitchen counter top. I have to lean it against something for it to stay opened. Other than that major issue I have with it, the 2 mirrors itself (one normal, the other magnifies) are fine.

I gave my husband this mirror, e.l.f. tweezers, and Tweezerman facial scissors for his birthday. He is delighted, and can finally do that closeup personal grooming he's been wanting to do.
