(Written for my daughter, aged 17, who has very long hair) The shampoo starts out very well, but after a week to 10 days of use the conditioners start to weigh hair down near the scalp, but there aren't enough conditioners in it to keep the ends from being dry and brittle. Regular use of a clarifying shampoo and a leave-in cream used on the ends should solve the problem, but that's what you would get with any other shampoo; it doesn't make this one special at all.

If I had reviewed this right after I began using it I would've given it 5 stars - it works and feels every bit like a salon-type shampoo and conditioner. After 6 months of exclusive use, though, my fine/thin hair had so many split ends I had to cut it short to get rid of them all (it's only been about 6 weeks since my last haircut). I guess it's back to Herbal Essences for me.

I love, love, love this shampoo. My hair was dry before I started using this. I was looking for the perfect shampoo and conditioner, which would be pH balanced and alcohol free. I found it in one bottle. For an unbelievable price too. I used to use all the salon brands but they don't beat this. It has a light, pleasant smell and is gentle on my hair. I use it every other day because my hair is long and thick and prone to damage.

For the price, this is a great 2-in-1 to use. It definitely left my hair feeling clean, but also very dry. Plus, when drying my hair I noticed that it contained quite a lot of static electricity--which usually doesn't happen to me when I use Pert/Finesse 2-in-1 products.

A great find! It is simple and gentle. It is perfect for daily use; I have a fairly oily scalp, and I found that this shampoo left my hair residue-free, but still very soft. I think that I have found my new favorite.

I used to buy those expensive shampoos that never performed well. Well, the endless search for the perfect shampoo is over. I decided to give this a try, and it is by far the best shampoo I've ever tried and it's very cheap! Leaves hair soft, shiny, without build-up and that heavy feeling, and I can use it daily because it's PH balanced. Give it a try, you'll love it too!

I use this shampoo every day and it is really great. It does not have a strong or overpowering scent, and it does not make your hair smell like flowers or green apples after you get out of the shower. It is a great simple shampoo, and it saves time because it has conditioner that acutally works inside. Also, it is so cheap!!

Suave's Shampoo Plus Conditioner is the best product for the price. My hair is coarse, dry and color-processed. It thoroughly cleansed and conditioned my hair, leaving it feeling like I had just used a more expensive salon brand. I can't say the same thing about other Suave products. Some other Suave shampoos made my hair feel like I had just used a cheap brand. But the Shampoo Plus Conditioner worked very well. I would recommend this product!
