I couldn't believe the odor coming from that bottle, even before I opened it. I've used other Sulfodene products and thought they were ok, but after this experience I have to think something it wrong with the manufacturer, and will never buy anything from them again. I cringe to think anyone would use something like that on a defenseless animal. When will they come up with a way to give a negative rating?

adopted shelter kittens with filthy, filthy ears. The vet cleaned them but still had some "nastiness" left. I got a couple of different cleaners and this one was the best. The cats tolerated it well and after a couple of days, the ears were visably cleaner and the cats stopped shaking their heads. I would caution you though, This can be a bit messy. The cleaner is a thin liquid and as the cats shake their heads to clear their ears, the liquid flies everywhere. Would probably be a good idea to have a towel close by.
Apply a liberal amount of Sulfodene Ear Cleaner into the ear canal of the dog or cat. Gently massage the base of the ear to loosen wax and debris, then let the pet shake the liquid out of the ear, if desired. A cotton swab may be used on the outer ear to remove extra dirt and debris. Do not insert cotton swab or any other object deep into the pet's ear canal.
