I have a little mix Terrier and everytime after I bath her the first time with regular shampoo I use this medicated shampoo. I am an RN and it has Sulfodene in it so I leave it on her for about 3-5 mins. It really helps cut down her scratching herself since she has long hair. I couldn't do without this product, as a matter of fact going to bath her today with it again. Buy it if you want to help your dog with skin irritation.

I use to get this at [@]. It is very effective and your dog will be cleaner .We have a Beagle who loves to smell every bush no matter what ang gets into about everything, & this product works well. We have found our dog gets cleaner and stays cleaner longer with this product.We have since found it at [@] and it is about 20% less there.Rob

I purchased this product hoping it would help with itching/flaky skin. I have used it twice now, and there has not been any change in the itching/flaking. Though my dog smelled, looked, and felt great after shampooing, by about the 4th or 5th day, the sulfur smell became prominent.

My pets hate bathtime, but always feel better afterwards. Be careful not to get this in your pet's eyes, and keep room well-ventillated. Very effective at reducing scratching.

I was disappointed in this product. It did not lather at all and it did little to cover any doggy smell. I guess if you used it for specific skin problems it might be useful, but I wouldn't recommend it for general use.

Purchased this product to help with my dog's itching and flaking skin. His dog food is high quality, so that is not the cause. II thought this medicated shampoo would help, but no luck. After a few days the flakes returned. There may be another underlying cause to the skin problem, we just haven't determined it. I will continue to use this product for regular dog bathing, as it does help with odors.

I have used Sulfodene dog shampoo for over 15 years. IExcellent deodorizer and is very gentle on the skin. My dogs spend a great deal of time in the woods and often have irritations from pollen, etc. Sulfodene cleans and relieves any skin irritation immediately. It is gentle enough to use everyday. I typically bathe my hounds once a week. It has a slight medicine smell but is pleasant and highly effective.

This stuff is fantastic. I bought a few different shampoos for my shih tzu, and by far, this one leaves him with a silky coat and a clean smell. And it seems to truly soothe his skin--no itching. I bought some others with prettier packaging, but this is the real deal.
