Sulfodene Skin Medication is formulated to be effective as an aid in the treatment of certain common skin inflammations in dogs. Recommended specifically as an aid for Hot Spots (Moist Dermatitis). Also, Sulfodene is an effective first aid for scrapes and abrasions.
Signs: These skin inflammations may be accompanied by itching so intense that the animal rubs, scratches and bites incessantly. Other signs associated with these skin inflammations include hair loss, redness, scaling and secondary infection.

Warnings
Rarely, minor allergic skin reactions occur in persons applying this product or in dogs following usage. Wash hands immediately after applying. Should this occur in dogs, discontinue use and wash the treated area with water. Flammable. Keep away from heat or flame. Keep away from eyes. For external use only. Keep this and all other medications away from children.

After taking my dog to TWO vets who did nothing to help her skin irritation, I remembered Sulfodene and thankfully found it online at drugstore.com. I have used this product for decades because it WORKS! It works quickly with daily application and red skin and hot spots clear up. To apply it more effectvely, buy a small spray bottle at the drug store and then spray the Sulfodene and blot.

It would be nice to have some type of a spout to apply this easier. Works great and is gentle on the skin. If you catch a flea, put it in the bottle and it will die!

My dog has skin allergies and breaks out in a rash on her whole underside from Spring till Fall. This heals up the rash and dries up the sores. It taste bad to her so she will not chew after it is applied. The only thing I don't like is that it does not have a applicator top on it. You have to use cotton balls.

Product is really great and fast healing but would be more helpful if it came with a spray nozzle so it would not drip on floor and it would be applied closer to skin and stay on skin.
Clip hair from around affected areas and apply Sulfodene freely with an applicator such as cotton or soft, clean cloth twice a day. If condition does not improve within one week, consult your veterinarian.
