The suede insoles completely ripped out the sole (and padding) of my favorite pair of shoes when I tried to replace them with a fresh set!!!

I scoured the Summer Soles website to see what I did wrong or if there were tips for removing/replacing - this information is no where to be found.

Now this already expensive product is even more expensive - because I have to replace an entire pair of shoes!!!! (And these were not cheap shoes. They are Bandolino which is a quality brand).

(To be fair, I gave 2 stars because the product did what is advertised. They kept my feet fresh in high heels all day in very humid Orlando.)

I can't tolerate shoes that are slippery inside, which limits summer shoe options. Wool is natural antimicrobial. I can't yet comment on the smelliness of these. I like the texture, & that they're lightweight. They're not *too* warm, just a little.
I normally have a (damp) wadded up ped on instead. This is 50x better than that! I do not intend to wear these all day, every day.
Drugstore.com has great prices & very fast shipping.
This is far less expensive than a new pair of good shoes, if I could even *find* a good summer pair.

Liners are very comfortable, but need some tweaking. After wearing them a few times, they become smelly from foot perspiration. Would be great if activated charcoal could be added to neutralize foot odors.

Even though I am generally always cold, my feet sweat like crazy...even if the rest of my body is freezing. I had bought new sling backs to wear for work this summer and thought I was going to have to throw them out. My feet were sweating horribly and sliding so much that if I had to walk more than a few feet, I changed into my flip flops! I stumbled upon this product online and thought I would give it a shot...well I wore them today in my slingbacks and it was AMAZING. My feet stayed dry all day and I could actually walk more than 5 feet in my shoes with no issues at all. This product is a life saver for people like myself that are embarassed by how much their feet sweat. I realize its only been one day but as long as things remain the same, I will be ordering these for all my shoes!

I think these would be great for open sandals when you have no other insole options. They are thin and come in many colors so they blend in with many different shoes and will be discreet and they would do a good job of keeping your feet from sliding around. They are not so great, however, for odor protection in closed ballet flats or heels. I have SUPER sweaty feet and in flats, these only last for about a week as far as odor protection goes. If your looking for odor protection, I can say that there are definitely better options (dr scholls super odor insoles, for instance). If your looking to keep your feet from slipping around in open sandals, then these are the insoles for you.
