This is the 3rd Sunbeam brand, and 2nd of this exact model, that has burned out in just a few months. One lasted about 1.5 years. Another lasted a few months. This one lasted less than 1 month! A previous heating pad I had lasted over 10 years, so did Sunbeam change their supplier/manufacturer, or did they change their standards? Very disappointed. After a lifetime trusting Sunbeam products, I am switching to a new brand.

I use heating pads in cat bedding, inside near windows and in outdoor cat shelters. I turn them on as needed in cold weather. I buy this particular model because, as far as I can find, it's the only one made that doesn't have an automatic shutoff. Those shut off after 2-4 hours, and the shutoff can't be disabled, and I need pads that run for 12 hours to three weeks at a time. I have about a dozen of these, some as old as four years, and haven't had a single failure. Bravo, Sunbeam.

I purchased this heating pad for travelling purposes in the Winter. I use this heating pad to keep my legs warm.

After 2 days of occasional use, only the HIGH setting lit up. [...] another, and it did the same thing! These heating pads are very poor quaoity. I have no complaint with drugstore.com, but I have had it with Sunbeam products!!

Although inexpensive, this product serves it's purpose; does exactly what it's supposed to do. It was exactly as described with no unnecessary bells and whistles. Sometimes simple is better.
