I use this for my left shoulder. I had a fall and injured my left shoulder. The range of movement is coming back with the use of the Sunbeam heating pad and the pain is decreasing.

By the end of the day my shoulders and neck are so tense and this is a wonderful product for that. even if I don't need it some days it still just feels good. I even drape it over my feet when they are cold.

This is a great product to use because I can change the location of it on my body. I can place it flat and rest my lower back upon it. I can place it on my shoulder and let the magnets close it to keep it secure. Only problem is my pet likes to lie down upon it too. I am getting another one to keep for travel.

Generally this is a good product. Some of the other reviews say it is not hot enough. I think that if you just sit up with it, the heating pad doesn't feel as warm as if you lie down with it. I have arthritis between my 5th and 6th cervical vertebrae, so it would be nice if it had more coverage around the neck (it's basically the back of the neck). While that is an important area for me and useful, I often find that I have to turn my head to one side or the other to reach the areas of pain on the sides of my neck.

This does get very hot on the high setting but cycles off at about 15 minutes, which is good. The only problem I have is that it does not seem to help my neck as much as my shoulders. I have severe arthritis in my neck and it would be nice to have more heat in that area. Overall, this product does alleviate pain and I would recommend it to others with mild to moderate neck and shoulder pain. I like that it is weighted to keep in place and seems to cover a greater area. Great product!!

This pad is perfect for the neck and shoulders, prime areas of tension for me. Its super-soft fabric is very comforting and I like the "collar" in the back that goes up the neck. It's best if you can lean back on it a bit as that will give you full contact with the heat. It does seem to cycle off or lower after about 20 minutes but my regular heating pad seems to do that too, I assume to regulate its temperature. But in most cases I don't think you want constant levels of high heat for too long at a time, anyway. I also like the little magnet "latch" which closes it in front -- very clever. And supposedly you can wash it in the machine, though I haven't tried that yet. I'm glad I got it -- tons better than a flat pad for the neck/shoulder area!

I have Degenerative Joint Disease, Arthritis in my neck and all over mt back, as well as my shoulders. My neck, shoulders, and upper back hurts sooo bad, till sometimes I'm in tears. I now call this my "miracle on an electrical cord". I highly recommend it for anyone who has neck, shoulder, and/or upper back pains!!!

This is the second one we have purchased. The first one finally quit working after about 2 years of daily use. Awesome product and easy to put on and take off.

Product does not work. From the instructions, it seems that it is not connected correctly, a red light keeps blinking, but I've connected and reconnected and it still blinks and will not heat.
