Sometimes it gets a bit wrinkly and doesn't stay smooth, but that 's okay too. It heats up pretty quick, and you do have a choice in temperature so it all evens out in the end. Comments about Sunbeam Standard Heating Pad, 1 ea: I am so glad it stays on and does not have auto-shut off. The last one that I had auto-shut off and it failed. I do not like the cover that comes with the pad. I make my own covers for the pads because I like an all cotton cover. Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Sunbeam Standard Heating Pad, 1 ea: This heating pad is perfect for use in seed germination. Just pad it with a couple layers of fabric to reduce the temperature slightly. Excellent! Comments about Sunbeam Standard Heating Pad, 1 ea: Disappointed in it overall. I have to put it on max heat to get the comfort I want. But it only lasts that hot for a few minutes before it starts to cool down. Nowhere does it say it has an auto shut off function yet it controls the heat, not me. Don't recommend at all. Pros Cons Best Uses
Comments about Sunbeam Standard Heating Pad, 1 ea: Looked far and wide for a heating pad without an automatic shut-off to replace one we have had over 14yrs. Original pad was purchased to keep newborn puppies warm. Now the mama dog is 15yo and needs to keep warm. It's perfect for our needs. So far the quality is excellent. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Sunbeam Standard Heating Pad, 1 ea: I've had my Sunbeam heating pad for years. It's never let me down and has provided tons of relief. I use it now when doing castor oil packs. Today, my pad just died & I will surely be replacing it with the same type! Pros Cons Best Uses Comments about Sunbeam Standard Heating Pad, 1 ea: Used twice, then it kind of melted. Never could get it back in shape and had to throw it away since I had already disposed of the box. Waited a long time to receive it and was very disappointed. Pros

Best Uses Comments about Sunbeam Standard Heating Pad, 1 ea: This Sunbeam heating pad is a) too small and b) too cheaply made. Unlike the stronger x-large version (of which I have 3, they're great) this one crumples into a ball every time you try to use it; it's almost impossible to straighten out and once you do, it crumples again. Don't waste your money on this smaller cheaper version; pay for the x-lg one which is far sturdier in construction. Comments about Sunbeam Standard Heating Pad, 1 ea: I looked and looked for a heating pad that would stay on. I use it in our dogs bed in the winter and it was a hassle to have to continue to remember to keep turning the heating pad back on all day. Of course we always knew when it went off at night because we would wake up with him in bed with us. We all sleep through the night now. Pros

Comments about Sunbeam Standard Heating Pad, 1 ea: It's difficult to find a heating pad these days that doesn't automatically shut off after two hours. This heating pad stays on until you turn it off. Setting are Off, Low, Medium, and High. My little dog loves sleeping on a heating pad, but this heating pad has a strong pastic, chemical, almost toxic odor to it. My dog wouldn't use this one. So I washed and dried the fabric cover, and I sprayed the plastic heating pad with some of that "Pet Stain & Odor Remover" spray on both sides and let it set awhile. It's a little better now, but it still has an odor. I wish this item came "fragrance" free. |
