This is a great calcium supplement and has just the right amount of calcium to be readily absorbed by your body, plus vitamin D. I take one capsule four times daily (one capsule is 300 mg). The pills are longer than your average tablet, so for somebody who has trouble swallowing it might not be a good choice. I definitely recommend it for somebody who is healthy and does not have trouble swallowing.

Why not say, 300 each. I read 900 and thought oh boy till I read the fine print. I prefer the Schiff.
