Comments about Sunkist Vitamin C 500mg Easy Swallow Tablets, 120 ea:

I wanted this 500mg dose, not megadoses. I wanted a smooth, easy to swallow tablet and this is definitely it. I have had problems in the past with other companies with mail-order vitamin C not being fresh, actually being rancid. These tablets from this company have been fresh every time I have received them.

Comments about Sunkist Vitamin C 500mg Easy Swallow Tablets, 120 ea:

I never reviewed "pills" before but lets give it a try.

I wanted a vitamin C supplement to help me get through the winter without getting sick. My chronic bronchitis can make the smallest cold a threat. And lately it is getting more and more difficult to avoid colds of influenzas. People just take medication to control the symptoms and go out to the world spreading their viruses instead of staying home AT LEAST the most risky days.

Anyway, too many options in the market, some of them very florid and with huge amounts of vitamin C. Why would anyone need 24 times the daily amount of vitamin C? Are vitamin C hoarders a new human species? This one has already 833% the daily amount and it is only 500mg, some have 1500. Anyway, I either take a tablet in the morning if I am going to be in a "risky" environment or take it when I get home if that was the case. Never two consecutive days, though. So far I have not gotten sick (crossing fingers) and I had my husband sick at home. I must say I am happy with the tablets.

As a negative, we could say they have a hint of orange flavor (it smells great when you open the bottle) but it turns bitter if you take more than 2 seconds to swallow it. The tablets are dark orange, 11/16" x 5/16", oval shaped with edges. They are fine for me but I know several people who would not be able to swallow them.
