The Supersmile toothbrush is much smaller than my Sonicare, which is a big plus. It seems to have the same cleaning power and holds a charge longer too. There are 3 different settings you can use which determine the strength of the "sonic pulse", but I've never tried the lower 2 settings. It leaves my teeth feeling squeeky clean, and I'd definitely recommend this to someone who's looking for a new electric brush. I think the design of the toothbrush attachment area is not as robust as the sonic. The very first time I tried to use it the toothbrush snapped off the base and left a piece inside so it would no longer work. I had to send for a replacement. The new one has worked fine so far. It is preferable to the Oral B and Braun products I have used in the past. It has also proven to be durable.. The problem is the cost for replacment brushes which Drugstore. com does not carry. Two cost [$] from the manufacturer's website and they suggest that you change brushes every 90 days "for best results." I've used mine for a lot longer than that but it's time for new brushes and this is painful.  Pros

I charge the brush once a week and whole week it works just fine. I am not really using the whitening stuff, so can't comment on that. Overall, it's a very good sonic brush. Pros

It has a nice compact charging base, holds its charge for quite awhile and has a great shape for thoroughly cleaning your teeth. Overall, my teeth, and in fact my whole mouth, feel much cleaner and healthier than using a regular toothbrush and even some other electronic ones too. I definitely notice an improvement in my overall oral care and love the timed cleaning feature too! Pros

My mouth feels clean after brushing and my teeth and caps appear visually whiter. It is easy to use and the directlons are very explicit. Since it is so light weight my only concern would be the durability of the unit....I was concerned when I read that if the cord gets damaged the unit needs to be tossed since it can't be replaced or repaired.....which means I was uncomfortable travelling with it. I will be anxious to hear on Sept. 8th if my dentist notices a difference since I've been seeing him for over 30 years. Pros
Cons Best Uses Comments about Supersmile Series II LS45 Advanced Sonic Pulse Toothbrush, 1 ea: I have used a Sonicare Toothbrush for many years and find this toothbrush equal to Sonicare. The motion is very gentle on the gums but effective in cleaning between teeth and in the back of the mouth. The 3 speeds is also nice to have for an gentler brushing in the morning.
