For best results, do a test spot to determine the exact amount of time leave it on. If you leave this on too long, you will burn your skin. I leave it on for four minutes, any longer and my skin is irritated. Definitely use the surgi-soothe cream that is included to restore skin's pH, soothe skin, and slow hair growth. I am 40 years old with combination skin and use daily AHA/BHA products and an OTC retinol. I use this depilatory once a week, and have no problems adding this into my skin care regime. No it doesn't smell good, and I had to leave it on about 10 minutes to work, but in the past it worked very well, removing all hair in the applied area with zero irritation. The box and packaging looks different now and I don't know if they changed the formula but it only removed about 25% of the hair and caused severe irritation and "chemical burns." Nothing covers it and it's so obvious! It is so upsetting every time I look in the mirror. I only used it once and this happened ! BE REALLY CAREFUL !

I saw many people recommend this product. I just simply doesn't work! I have tried Veet Body hair remover even though it says not specifically for face, but it works wonders for me! This doesn't! All this has done was turn me red, cause my skin to burn, and not remove anything!

I have not really tried any other products, so I cannot compare it. I tried this one and it worked, so stuck with it instead of chancing others.
