It still rips the hair out; painful, but smooth. With the old formula, it came with this oil pain relief, but not with this one. I am actually glad it doesn't come with it because I would be tempted to use it to relieve the pain, but then bumps would form the next day. I didn't use any sort of powder and it worked fine. Although, to ease the pain a bit, trim the hair to 1/4" or w/e the recommended length is. Mine was longer than that, and I don't recall it being that painful... Comments about SurgiCare Wax Hair Remover, For Bikini, Body & Legs, 4 oz: Make sure you use a little oil so the wax doesn't stick to your skin. (even if it doesn't come in the box... then use olive oil) Pros

Comments about SurgiCare Wax Hair Remover, For Bikini, Body & Legs, 4 oz: Love, love this wax. I've used it for years. Noticed the formula change, and at first didn't like it, but I've adjusted. No way would I go to a salon to wax regularly, so I'm thrilled to be able to use this product from home. It can be a little tricky / messy, but as with most products, practice makes perfect.

Comments about SurgiCare Wax Hair Remover, For Bikini, Body & Legs, 4 oz: I haven't been able to find this one in drug stores anymore and I tried all kinds of other brands, but this is the best one out there. I've been using it for years. I use it mainly for bikini waxing. It does a better job than going to the salon. No bruising and gets all the hair out. If you use the oil that comes with the product before you put the wax on, then the wax residue comes of easily, otherwise you have to use oil to scrape it off. Love this product.

Comments about SurgiCare Wax Hair Remover, For Bikini, Body & Legs, 4 oz: I always use this product and its fine. It gets all the hair. Just like any other waxing it can be painful. I've tried all kinds of self waxing products and I think this is the best one. Pros

Comments about SurgiCare Wax Hair Remover, For Bikini, Body & Legs, 4 oz: I can get this product locally but no where can I find the original tan colored wax. This is a thicker green color which does not heat as well in the microwave and does not have the pliability as the original formula - it can break off if you leave it too long before removal. I have been waxing myself for 40 years; clean up of any wax requires oil. I have never used oil before waxing as one reviewer mentioned, but clean and dry thoroughly so hair stands away from skin - a light dusting of powder can help if you are having trouble getting all hairs - use tweezers for the stubborn ones. For the money, this is easy and cheap. My sister uses Zip brand wax, heated in a small slow cooker; might try that next.

Best Uses Comments about SurgiCare Wax Hair Remover, For Bikini, Body & Legs, 4 oz: I thought, based on the reviews, this would be like what they use in my salon. It was awful. It wasn't pliable or easy to spread on or get off. I don't think any hair was removed when I tried a small patch on my lower leg. I had a horrible mess and I think it would take an entire day to try to use it on even one leg. I regret buying this item.
