If I am in a hurry I preheat the refill in the microwave for about 30-45 seconds and it is perfect. Then in between rolling the wax on and pulling it off with the strips I put the refill back into the heater. I just keep it next to me while I wax and keep putting the refill back in. I also pop the refill in upside down for short periods of time to keep the top heated and when the refill is running low. HOWEVER, I forgot it in there upside down and all of the wax ran out into the heater unit and I am now having to replace it (but after 2 years this isn't a big deal). When my refills run low I just save them and use the new refill for a while until it has some space and then microwave my low refill and pour it into the new one. I think this whole system works wonderfully and will use it for years to come. It isn't messy, I don't end up with wax all over my bedroom or bathroom and on my hair it gets most of it as long as I let it grow out first. Hope this is helpful to some people. I even waited an hour and a half the second time I tried it to see if that would help and it was exactly the same result. I think the wax is too thin, it doesn't get all the hair, even if your hair is grown out longer than the unit recommends. Be ready to pick off remaining wax that the strips don't pick up. This product is also more painful because instead of going over the same area once or sometimes twice, get ready to have to do it multiple times! I wouldn't recommend this product at all. Best Uses Comments about Surgi-Wax Professional Salon System, Total Body & Face Roll-On Waxer, 1 ea: This does not heat enough to melt the wax to a useful consistency. I have an old Clean & Easy machine in same design and it still works well. This is my second purchase of a new model and both do not melt the wax sufficiently. I think they have changed the inner workings and it is no longer a good purchase. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Best Uses Comments about Surgi-Wax Professional Salon System, Total Body & Face Roll-On Waxer, 1 ea: I love this product except that the small waxer will not dispense wax or roll. So I have to open the large one and dip wax from it to do my face. I must have gotten a defective roller. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Comments about Surgi-Wax Professional Salon System, Total Body & Face Roll-On Waxer, 1 ea: I have been using for over 5 years. I don't use the warmer anymore because i just microwave the wax. This roll-on is great because you just roll the wax on instead of scooping out of a wax container which is uneven and messy. It takes 15 minutes to do upper and lower legs. It does not leave your legs smooth like shaving, but the hair is gone way longer. I have thick hair and shaving gives stubble by end of day. Waxing then shaving leave legs very smooth for special occasions or weekends out where i can't shave. The only thing that works better is an epilady and that can be very very painful. Best Uses Comments about Surgi-Wax Professional Salon System, Total Body & Face Roll-On Waxer, 1 ea: I really wanted this product to work. It was good for its first use. After that, the rollers build up residue and it becomes difficult to use without tedious cleaning. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Best Uses Comments about Surgi-Wax Professional Salon System, Total Body & Face Roll-On Waxer, 1 ea: I was really excited to try this product but it was a disappointment for me. I let the wax heat up for about 45 minutes, and the first application worked fine and got out most hairs in the area. I put the wax back in the heater but it still cooled a lot and the wax hardened and I couldn't get the roller to roll (happened with both large and small cartridges). Eventually I quit with the roller and just tried to dump out wax and spread it on my skin, but even after leaving it in the heater for 5+ minutes I had trouble getting the wax out. I might try to use it again, but will probably heat in microwave and pour out wax instead of trying to use rollers. Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? Cons Best Uses Comments about Surgi-Wax Professional Salon System, Total Body & Face Roll-On Waxer, 1 ea: This is the best product I have found so far for home waxing needs. You should 'not' use water for cleanup. Just use some baby oil to finish off. Pros:1) costs less (It was [$] seven years ago)2) easy to use3) portable4) does not leave residue4) heats in 30-40 minsCons:1) Takes 30-40 mins to heat upI have been extremely happy with this product Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend (0 of 1 customers found this review helpful) Was this review helpful? Comments about Surgi-Wax Professional Salon System, Total Body & Face Roll-On Waxer, 1 ea: Con - you need to wait over an hour for the wax cartridge to liquify, even then it is not thin enough. Pro - for the first initial minute or two, the waxing is easy due to the roll on. However, the wax thickens very quickly and gets all over every nook and cranny of the roller causing it to stop rolling. Then, it is VERY difficult to clean the wax off. It will not come off with water and I wound up soaking the parts (mid waxing) in baby oil and that didn't even get it all off. I think I will just leave this system for my armpits only, cause I'd rather pay $100 to get my legs/bikini waxed than deal with all this nonsense. Comments about Surgi-Wax Professional Salon System, Total Body & Face Roll-On Waxer, 1 ea: I've tried about a dozen different waxing products, and this one does the most thorough job on my stubborn Italian hair. I've been using it for almost a year, and my only complaint is that when the wax in the refill gets low, it's hard to use what's left. (It seems that the container needs to be at least a fifth full in order to be really useful.) It's also a little harder to clean up than the water-soluable waxes, but the process is so much faster that it's totally worth a little bit of scrubbing with baby oil.

Comments about Surgi-Wax Professional Salon System, Total Body & Face Roll-On Waxer, 1 ea: I have been using this product for an year or two!! It has amazingly worked on me! I use it for under arms, full legs and hands, upper lips and bikini. Its hassel free... not messy. But the only problem is, if a thin layer of wax sticks and U dont realise it, it wont come off when U take shower!!! Sometimes U will not even know that u have not removed that wax (its that faint). U will only come to know when u sit on somthing or wear a new clothe. The best solution for this is before going to shower or wash ur legs and hands (after the wax), apply powder everywhere to see where it is stuck and apply a body lotion on it and it comes off!!!
