I wore out my first Large Swiffer and had to search for a new one. The new one snaps together easily and has more places to secure the dry or wet cloths. They were small improvements, but definately worth mentioning. I have always used the larger swiffer because it cleans so much more area in a shorter amount of time. It confuses me that it isn't available in stores any longer, but I was relieved to find it available on line. Swiffer products are great!

Not What I Expected
The Swiffer Sweeper better served as a floor duster rather than a scrubber. I found it to be weak when it comes to cleaning tile floors.

The head of this is huge. One needs two of the regular wet towels to cover it. The length of the head does not make for efficient and acceptable cleaning. Drugstore does not sell the extra large towels. Probably being phased out...for good reason.

Wow, I love this oversized swifter! It's perfect for all the wood floors in my house. Now, if only they could make the pads more eco friendly....I do feel guilty throwing them in the trash.

For starters, the wet mopping cloths were much shorter than the head of the sweeper, by 3-4 inches on each side. Not sure how that is helpful. Secondly, it cleaned terribly. Maybe one cloth is only meant to be good for one length of the floor? I went over most of the floor with paper towels after "mopping", and the only thing the swiffer appeared to do was wet the tiles.

this is the larger size so all of my pads are smaller so I have to double them up to use them up, will buy the larger size when I run out because I love the larger size
