It has made my life easier on a daily basis I also love the value you get for your money, it is definetly worth the more than affordable price this is a KEEPER I recommend this without hesitation! It doesn't suck up any of the litter it just pushes it every where else. We will probably be returning this even though it does suck up bigger objects but unfortunately we don't have a problem with big crumbs. If you have children who drop bigger stuff on the floor then yes this would be the ideal product to get but anything smaller your gonna have to get the broom. The original could not hold a charge only a few minutes after 12 years. But on the new vac ,the on-off button is placed poorly and the rubber hanger hook on the handle keeps getting snagged on my shirt. I liked the old design much better. Called & they said it was a known problem, sent a $10 coupon toward the purchase of a new one. I have my 2nd one now, same problem after 2 months of use. Very upset. It cleaned up everything on my floor including stuff the broom leaves behind. I will definitely be using this instead of my broom from now on. The part that vacuums keeps lifting up and have to push back in place constantly with our foot.. The spring holding it down should be stiffer or stronger. The charge didn't last long enough to vacuum my flooring so I bought a newer version (on/off switch above the dirt cup) a couple of years ago.
